I have a router and 2 computers connected to it.

When I go to one of those "Check My IP" websites the ip it shows is 74.236.***.** (I have starred out the last part of the ip just in case posting your ip is not allowed here, or something).

When I go to the command prompt and type in ipconfig it shows:

IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.75.40
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.75.1

I use that 192.168.75.1 address to access my router's web interface. I go to the status page of the router settings. It shows this:

Internet IP Address: 192.168.1.97

On my old ISP, it would show:

Internet IP Address: 24.blah.blah.blah

y'know, like a normal ip address beginning with 24. And it would be identical to the ip address that would come up on those "Check My IP" websites.

But with my new ISP it's not like that. My router is set up just like before with the old ISP

so i am using a mac book.
I have a blank cd in.
When ever i click burn, it keeps saying insert a blank disc.
Whats wrong? the disc im using has nothing on it.

Could the problem be that it say CD-R music? so is it only meant for that?

I hane been using classic media player for playng movies..
I was renaming the .srt files with the same name as the movia to be played in classic player..
but now i cannot see the subtitles..Is it needed a codec that i may have uninstalled, because i uninstalled some programs and maybe that by mstake..please help me..

I have a dell Inspiron 9300 labtop, and the power outlet I am using is from a dell vostro 1000...When I turned on my computer, it said switch power sources for optimum performance. I believe the power source for the Vostro is a bit less than the one I am using for mine - Is it safe to use?

I'm searching for a certain quote I found the other day on Wikipedia. I copied the sentence to refer to it later, but I didn't copy it the right way...

Could you help me find it again?

I remember it being in bold and capital letters. Stating something like: when you are using Wikipedia as a source, it's your responsibility to make sure that the information from the article's references are acurate.

I just purchased a new PC, and all I've heard for the last year was how horrible and useless Vista is. The kids at the Best Buy did try to convince me that Vista is the way to go, but I did hear that they (and everyone else,) had to be forced by Microsoft to use Vista on the new machines. Its not impossible or even difficult for me to put XP on my machine (I even have my old discs from the old PC,) but if they weren't just trying to sell me on what I heard was the worst version of Windows ever (even more so then Windows NT,) I guess I can leave it on. Advanced Windows users and Vista Victims or Vista lovers free to answer.

the screen on my laptop goes blank all of the sudden for no reason. i have to shut it off and start all over again. Can someon help me? I have windstream as ISP. I have a txt file that i can read using an onclick event, but it shows the text file all one one page in html, how can i get it to read each line?

text file:

works fine, but reads text file on one line? tried using \n and still wont work,

Okay so I was working on my powerpoint for World Today Class.
&
I was adding custom animation and it FROZE ON ME♥
the little rainbow wheel came and it wont stop spinning-
( I am on my mac labtop, Which I hate at the moment. :] )
So... I went to force quit-
and it said
Powerpoint- Not responding
So I clicked it- and it said any unsaved changes will be lost.
and me being a DUMB ***- did not save it.
I spent like THREE hours on this and I DO NOT
want to loose it.
I am freaking out!!
What do I do!

Does anyone know where to find information on an integrated graphic processor? It is a Radeon IGP 340M. I know this is an old and obsolete graphic, but I was wondering about it, specifically the specs like supported processors, bus frequency, graphics core frequency, and most importantly its socket type. Thanks. I should be more specific, i would like information about what i asked about above, that would actually tell me something. The ATI website has no useful information about this.
