I have a dell Inspiron 9300 labtop, and the power outlet I am using is from a dell vostro 1000...When I turned on my computer, it said switch power sources for optimum performance. I believe the power source for the Vostro is a bit less than the one I am using for mine - Is it safe to use?

If it is lower voltage than the correct one then it is harmless. If it is higher then it may or may not be OK.

I don't know about those two, but in general it is not a good idea to use a different power supply. The laptop cannot read the brand name on the power supply, but power supplies come in different voltages. If the power supply supplies a higher voltage than the computer expects, it can damage your laptop.

First if to procure a electric razor or an electric radio plug it in to the opening and turn it on loud. bypass back to the fusebox (breakerbox) and flick the breakers in my opinion one by utilising one -off:on do it to all of them considering which you do not look to appreciate which one is off. considered one of them is the breaker for the bathing room and different shops that are out. some gadget led to the breaker to blow because of the fact the gadget is defective or is drawing too a lot modern. Vacuum cleanser or hair dryer. Or the two working on the comparable time. GFCI has not something to do with it.

Using the inappropriate power source not for your notebook can short out your motherboard and cause many issues that will cause your notebook to not function properly.

if it is less, then you will be fine. no problems, if it works then go ahead. Its not going to make it short out or anything. ESPECIALLY if it is less.
