Blank disc is in, photos are ready but, they wont burn?

Question

so i am using a mac book.
I have a blank cd in.
When ever i click burn, it keeps saying insert a blank disc.
Whats wrong? the disc im using has nothing on it.

Could the problem be that it say CD-R music? so is it only meant for that?

CD-R music CD's should work. Many PC's have preferences for certain brands of CD's. Have you ever burned a CD on the mac book before? What brand of CD did you use?

I have good luck with Verbatim, FWIW.

maybe the CD isnt blank!
or maybe you have the CD in the wrong slot!
