First question, did this computer come with XP installed on it? If so, are you using the disks from the manufacturer? I ask because if you have reloaded your computer due to a software problem you were having... then you probably need to run fdisk, delete and repartition your drive then install XP. Due to the error code you are receiving the first thing I would try is powering the system off and reseat all the cables you have plugged into your computer - it could be just a bad connection. Turn the computer on (without the install disk in it). If there's still a problem, turn the computer off and remove unneccessary peripherials such as printers etc... then try turning it back on. If the computer comes up then you know it's either one of your devices causing the problem or one of the USB ports said device is plugged into or a driver. To figure out which one plug each device in one at a time and turn the computer on - eventually you will find the problem device. If and when your computer comes up go into Start/Control Panel/System, click the Hardware Tab and then click the button which says Device Manager. This will show you all of your devices, if there are question marks next to any of them then you may need to update the drivers. You can do this by right clicking the questionable device. Windows will ask you if you want to go out on the web to update or if you have a disk - I would try the web first. If this doesn't work I would suspect the hardware itself and try using a new cable, it's not all that common that a port goes bad. Before replacing hardware, if you have another computer in the house try hooking the device up to it... it works on another computer it's not the device itself. It's all a process of elimination, time consuming but not costly.

The first thing you would want to do it do what Matt D said boot into safe mode, then try a system restore, if that doesn't work then i would suggest downloading and burning a Bart PE windows which is a live boot cd of windows and run all the normal stuff like anti virus, spyware, dfrag which i would go find a good one online, etc... Also it is a good thing to make a back up of your computer drivers with drivermax, unless you already have the drivers
I am guessing you want to keep all your information on that Hard drive so try try try again tell you fix it.
Every one is right here, but you just have to figuar out which one you want to do first.
Also go into your bios and make sure on boot it says cd rom first to boot...

Have you tired loading the computer in a safe mode?
Try pressing F8 instantly after the restart, until you get into a DOS screen with lots of options , then try oad the computer in "Safe Mode". If it loads successfully you should the delete the last program you've installed.
If you still don't menage to get into Window, try pressing F8 again until you get the the DOS screen again and then try "Last Known Good Configurations".
If none of these help I'd guess it a problem in your MotherBored.
