(for a dell notebook). Same price....what do you say? Is it true that Vista is sometimes incompatible with printers?

id get the vista since its much more stable now. im pretty sure you will be getting the 32 bit version so you shouldnt have any problems locating the drivers. people wit the 64 bit have a little harder time.

Yes unfortunately, it's true that there are a lot of things incompatible with it.
Vista also uses a lot of RAM.....

Anyway, right now i'll say take XP, especially because a Service pack 3 is going to get released and it's gonna make XP run so much faster.

i havent had any problems with my printer

sevice pack 1 is comeing out next year so all of the problems that you hear about vista will be fixed

i also like all of the eye candy on vista

pretty soon xp will be old and out dated

give vista a chance you wont regret it ;)

If Vista was all it's marketing hype says it is, why does Dell offer XP as a Vista Upgrade???

vista is good for printing and is most compatiable with printers


but in anything else vista has connection problems

if you play games if you do alot of games will be messed up



and vista has ALOT OF BUGS!!!

I think i would go with xp right now

go with Vista, have never had any problems with printers
