i have submitted an item to ebay for sale, a person made a bid and i received this email

''This email is to inform you that any recent bids placed by kaysam2110 may have been by an unauthorized third party. We are now in the process of restoring the account to its true owner.

If this person was the winning bidder for the transaction then the transaction in question should be considered null and void''

What the hell do I do :O
Thanks

It would seem that an account has been hijacked, as already noted, and that the bids made on the item/s you were selling are void. Keep the email that Ebay sent as proof of this happening and if you choose not to relist the item and ebay try to charge you for the void listing you at least have proof of the issue.
You may also have the option in your account to sell the item to the person who came second to the winning bidder.

Kaysam2110 has decided to keep their trading history private so has lost the benefit of ebay's openness. Their feedback is 98.2% which is pretty good.
I would:
1. Forward the e-mail to e-bay
2. E-mail Kaysam and tell them of the email you have received
3. Only allow Paypal payments
If they do win, make sure you have their money first.

Above all, don't worry, you are selling not buying, so you get your money before despatch and their address should come up automatically...selling is safer than buying in this respect!

they are telling you that someone has hijacked someones ebay id and used it to bid on what you put on for sale. Relist it, usually ebay let you relist for free in this case.

Claim back your fees and relist - that account was hacked.
