No, if I understand your question. Either way, if you purchased the internet security, antivirus or antispyware, they will not turn it off. You will not get any more updates and your pc will be left open to all new spyware an virus that come out. And thousands come out per day.

If you are talking about an evaluation, yes they will turn off after the evalution period is used up.

If you say what type of security you are talking about I can refer you to some really good free ones or a one time purchase antivirus program that gives you daily updates and all new versions for life.

Not even your firewall will be shut down, if you purchased.

Just don't update to a new verson, because then you will have to pay and may not be able to find your old version to reinstall.

You will no longer receive updates to detect new malware. And according to Symantec, over 1200 new virus and other malware variants are created by the "black-hats" everyday.

An expired security suite is pretty useless.

yes, this happened to a relative of mine, there internet didnt work because the ntl netguard was out of date!!!

No, usually you will just not be able to recieve updates.

It will cease to protect you. You will then need to get alternatives, and uninstall this so it does not conflict.
