I am a model and I did a shoot I put the CD in to look at the pictures and it is saying that there is nothing on D Drive when I know that they are on there because they come up on any other computer but mine. HELP!!!!!! They are raw huge files could it be my computer can't handel them???

I want to buy the TOSHIBA A135-S7403 laptop at best buy this friday for their black friday thing but im not shure if this is a good computer or a cheap thing...i read the specs but i have no idea what they mean so if u know plese help me...

Every time i try to install a program i get this message,"Could not load the DLL library C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KERNEl 32.dll. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.". I am running windows ME. I don't have any money to spend. Any solution or any idea to what would cause this. I am pretty good with computers.

Hello! Today my recovery disk arrived after 8 long weeks with HP. Before I got the recovery disk, a balloon pops up saying you have files waiting to be written on this disk, even though there is no disk in the drive. Now when i put the recovery disk in the drive, it says do you want to write the files on the disk, so i click take no action, and it closes but then the steps im supposed to follow on the recovery disk doesnt come up! Please help!

I'm thinkin' of getting a MacBook for college, but will I have trouble with it? Can I download all the same files as my peers? Use the same programs that would be needed for projects? Anyone had problems? Also, I've been a Windows user my whole life, should I switch, would it be hard?

I'd consult the school directly, but I'm not sure where I'm going, and I'm planning on transferring too. Thanks.

a couple years ago my computer somehow set itself on fire and i put it out and i salvaged the disk drive and this memory chip i put in in an old box because its useless to me now because i only use laptops now and my sister has a desktop that is running a little low on memory and i was going to give it to her but not before i find out everything i can about this chip here is what i know about it

1.it came from an old e-machine desktop
2.there are two stickers on it the first says ITEM# 941325
3.the second says simple tech 98000-00167-001c000326
4.it has eight smaller chip on each side of it with one realy small chip on the one of the sides

wmplayer.exe - Bad Image
The application or DLL C:\PROGRA~1\Google\GOOGLE~2\GOEC62~1.DLL is not a valid Windows Image. Please check against your installation diskette. ....... I have tried uninstalling Windows Media Player 11 to rollback to the previous version. The same thing happened. I think it started when I downloaded a few skins from the Microsoft Downloads site.I have removed the skins, did online scans, search for GOEC62~1.DLL with Google Desktop Search and the source seems to be in my My Documents, 'Reports' Folder which consists of read-only documents... I have also tried system restore, didn't help either. ... Is it a virus, spyware, malware or whatever? How to overcome this?

I am on a computer, but working with a laptop by my side.
On the laptop i am on the IP address 192.168.1.1.
It is asking me questions.....and i dont know what to put.

I have a 3800+ singlecore 939 with 2x512mb DDR sticks (one 2100, other 3200) resulting to run at a ddr2100 speed which is the slowest speed for DDR. I am thinking of getting a gig stick of ddr memory. Doubling my ram speed will of course make a difference in speed. Also, i am planning on upgrading to a dualcore as well, a 4000++ dualcore. Instead of spending around $40-60 on another stick of old ram or $100-200 on a new soc 939 cpu, i was thinking of getting a new mobo, cpu, ram all together, since modern computer components are very cheap at the moment and also are definitely faster! Those AM2 processors are very cheap, i can't believe my eyes, also a gig stick of DDR2 memory is only $25! About half the price of normal DDR memory.

However i am broke at the moment, so would it be a good idea to just buy another stick of ddr ram only? Or should i just wait it out and build a new computer all together later on?

It needs to be really stealthy and unseen. I want the logs sent to my e-mail and if possible I need to be able to control that computer from my computer. I'm typing a research paper in MICROSOFT WORD. Ok like I was typing and I looked up and saw a mistake. When I went back to fix it every thing after it was being erased by what I was typing. I have linked my desktop to my lappy via direct cable connection. I have "shared" the C: drive on the lappy in order to copy across sys files to save prior to installing a new drive...

The desktop can find the laptop no problem, but it doesn't offer me a SEARCH capability.. Why not?

So merrily the two machines are pinging each other, yet I cant see a way to actually copy files... and YES I have deleted and retried the connection and rebooted etc etc but nothing seems to prove fruitful. Any ideas at all will be a great help and maybe set my way of thinking along the right lines.

ps. the lappy does NOT have a dvd rw...thats why i need the direct cable link.

I'm sure there's javascript or html out there for this somewhere, but I've yet to find it.

I'm creating a website for one of my friends band's for christmas, and there's a lot of things that I will need from him before it is ready to be viewed by everyone. I'd like to password protect the site so that I can send him the link and the password, and he can view everything and see what I mean, rather than sending him a bunch of firefox documents and then later publishing them. (I hope that made sense)

Is there a way that I can do this?
