Okay I've searched alot of websites and I've still havent found a solution. I have an HP Computer Maybe 1-2 years old. Everything was working fine than my CD-Rom doesnt work than a few days later it starts working again. Than maybe 4 months after that my mouse is having problems. I was playing a Game and my Ball mouse just froze up so i restarted my computer and no luck. So I thought it was just old and replaced. So i Plugged in my Logitech bluetooth mouse(laser) it works to some extent. It works for maybe 30 seconds (if i keep moving it around) Than stops. and if i wait awhile it works again for awhile and freezes up. I tried System Restore all my USB Slots. Batteries are fresh.. any other ideas??

When I right click something and I click Save As or Save, the windows where you put the download destination doesnt appear and of course it doesn't download it

My friend is trying to get full custody of his daughter, but the childs mother's myspace page has some "not so desireable content" on it. Could this harm her chances if he brings this info to court? Or do most courts these days care more about food/shelter/and health? There are refrences on it to drugs, dirty pics, etc.

Which do you think is better? I want to make graphics (Backgrounds, banners, art) for a bit of webdesigning, and maybe some Art too.(fanart, etc)
Which is easier to use? Is photoshop really worth the $600+?

I opened the casing to my Ps/2 keyboard and it had an extra Yellow wire that a usb cord does not have.

I need some recommendations on books I can read that will teach me more about computers. I know the very basics when it comes to computers, but I would like to become more educated with computer terms and such. I dont want anything that is completely over the top, I am a stay at home mom that believes my knowledge is lacking and would just like to improve it. Any suggestions?

i am trying to find out which laptop is better for my daughter!
she LOVES horses and has many horse games so i am trying to find a laptop that she can play all her horse computer games.

My computer main drive (C:) has only two gigabytes of memory with 1.88 GB already used. This must be a glitch or something so I want to switch to my drive (F:) because that holds up to 74 GB. Yet i can't find out how to. I've tried looking online but the instructions are too confusing so could someone tell me how to switch them but not speak too much "computer" talk because i don't understand that kind. Please respond ASAP!!!

Is there an application or process that will provide a readable list of what's occurring during startup? I'm aware of apps like HijackYhis, but they only show what's in the startup stream. I want to see a list created during startup that logs what's happening as it happens with timestamps... like in a step-thru code debug.

security toolbar 7.1 and other viruses are on my computer.
i keep searching for FREE products to scan and get rid of these files, but it won't get rid of them w/o me paying a fee with either paypal, a credit card, etc. i'm tired of this!

I have a computer which has an Athlon XP 1.4GHz processor, Gigabyte 7VTX motherboard, Windows XP and 512MB of RAM. I have seen an good offer to upgrade my computer memory to 1GB of RAM but I was wondering if I would really notice any speed improvements if I did. My bank recently stopped an un-authorized purchase using my credit card and because they (meaning the bank and authorities) can't really do much about it, I'm doing alittle investigating myself. So far, I've come up with a little bit of information on the 'perps' so if any of this rings a bell, let me know, i'd really appreciate it.
