Is there an application or process that will provide a readable list of what's occurring during startup? I'm aware of apps like HijackYhis, but they only show what's in the startup stream. I want to see a list created during startup that logs what's happening as it happens with timestamps... like in a step-thru code debug.

Thanks.

That should've been "HijackThis".

You can see all the *names* of items that start on system boot by going to Start--> Run--> [type in] msconfig ...and selecting the last tab, labeled "Startup"

...but don't (PUHLEEZE) diddle with it unless you're danged sure you know presackly whatcher doing!
