Turn off Windows Update by right clicking My Computer, choosing properties and going to the Automatic Updates tab and choose to never download or install updates. Click ok and then open Internet Explorer and click Tools>Windows UPdate and let the site scan your pc and install updates.

I think I understand your issue with windows updates. To fix this the steps will vary some what depending on what version of windows you are running. First assuming you have windows xp or vista open the control panel found on the start menu. Select security settings. Windows automatic update. Configure the settings to say ask me before downloading or installing updates or something like that. If you need further assistance with this issue feel free to contact me at support@pearnetworking.net and I can open a live chat to help you further. Hope this helps.

On a Mac, shift/manipulate/three takes a photo of the display. If you press shift/manipulate/four, you'll be able to click on and drag over the field you desire; the photo is taken whilst you free up the mouse button.
