Hello,

Here is my problem , I currently have a person website I have built with Frontpage 2003, I own a domain name that I bought and have it paid for until 2010. My webhosting service is through IPOWER , And I hate it ! It always has problems and my website never loads correctly on the ipower servers. I thought that maybe It was my website or computer that was the problem. So I got a bran new computer and got a New version of Frontpage and REMADE MY WEBSITE from scratch. And I noticed today that Im having the same problems with my website so it has to be the web hosting service. So now I want to switch to a new web hosting company. Can I do this and how ? I need to be able to take my domain name with me. What do I need to do to this ? The new comany I want to switch too is Omnis Web host. And one more thing is im mad casue I have pre-paid for 2 years hosting on Ipower and now have to switch for poor service. Do I lose my money then ? or can I ask for a refund ?

My friend and I decided to buy a printer. We brought a laser printer to be shared among us. After successful installing the drivers to each computer, we find it troublesome to plug and unplug the USB cable every time in order to use it from our respective computers. May u please propose some solution for me that enables us to print without unplug the cable?

ok its like this, my "C" drive is 40GB, and my "E" drive is 35.6 GB. i want to change my "E" drive to be 40 GB and the remain to "C" drive. how do i change this without deleting any file from "E" drive. help me with this.

I already did the network setup wizard, I right click a folder on my client computer, and I put it up for sharing, and then I went to my hosting computer, I could see the files fine, but if I did it vice verca, It says that the client doesn't have enough like authority to do it, how do i change this? The client can't even see the "shared documents" folder... and you know when your in the network on windows explorer? and it shows workgroup computers (all the computers in the network) my client can't get into the host one cause of the pop up that says it doesn't have the privilige or something like that

I'd like to have my own domain and a short name. (So geocities is too long for me.) It would also be nice if the host has good design tools to create my website? Money is an issue, so I need a cheapie but goodie.

Could someone please give me a comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of an iMac and the latest Microsoft computer (im not sure if i should say Sony computer here instead of Microsoft...but i mean the software too, not just the hardware.)?

I´ve been searching around in the internet a lot, but unfortunately, i´ve only seem able to come across, either totally biased Apple-based or totally biased Microsoft-based answers and advice.

I´m just looking for the basic differences, whats better in what area, and such things. So, i´d really, really appreciate any objective help you could give me. :)

ok so you may hae heard of sysfader.exe. it causes your windows explorer to freeze up. ive heard of two possible fixes. running a virus scanner, which i dont have, or changing stuff under internet options. the thing is its not letting my IE work either. thank god i have another cpu. so i could really use some help fixing this one. =) please and thankyou

I'm having trouble opening a Word Doc on my thumb drive, the file disappeared, gone... I have been working on the file hours, I can see it on my Recent Doc, but when I click on it, there is a error message.
Does anyone know what is wrong? I'm really screwed if the file is not recovered. Please help ASAP

my friends were using my computer and they got a bunch of spyware and stuff on it and all it did was pop up windows. I ran a few programs that have worked in the past but i think i fried my internet connection. I have tried a few things but cant restore the connection but i know it would work if i could, i am on a network and i can connect to the other computers but not to the internet, can anyone help me or tell me where to go.

I live in the Philippines and most of the computer owners here are buying pirated installers for their computers.The burned version.I'm planning to install Adobe CS3 on my hp laptop and there's a computer shop here in our place which sells the burned or pirated installer for only 4$ or 200 pesos.What are the risks of installing pirated installers then?

How do I configuer/conect my old G3 power book (OS9.2)
to use with my ADSL router which has 4 ethernet outputs.

i looking to buy a new laptop, and there are 2 processors that i can choose are Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 and Intel Core 2 Duo T7100. actually what i want to know is that is it a significantly big different between these processors at performance? because i don't want to spend more money on T7100. note: both laptops come with 2GB of RAM. thank u!

before couble monthes i downloaded windows vista ultimate and it works fine in the begining then i found that i cant use my cd/dvd room and i cant burn any thing,after that they told me that i must enter the key num. and i dont have that thing coze i brought this cd from my friend ,and they told me that they will stop my windows if i didnt enter that number sooooooooooo wat will happen if my windows stopped working ??????and how can i back my old windows(xp home)?????i ve got that windows cd.i really need help i dont want to lose my lovely computer and my data.thanks alot

Like just now, I start up my PC, and they both work fine. Yesterday (and a couple of times in the last few days), it's like they don't exist. They won't open, and Windows Explorer doesn't see them. A re-boot makes no difference.
