i really need your help and your brain..?

before couble monthes i downloaded windows vista ultimate and it works fine in the begining then i found that i cant use my cd/dvd room and i cant burn any thing,after that they told me that i must enter the key num. and i dont have that thing coze i brought this cd from my friend ,and they told me that they will stop my windows if i didnt enter that number sooooooooooo wat will happen if my windows stopped working ??????and how can i back my old windows(xp home)?????i ve got that windows cd.i really need help i dont want to lose my lovely computer and my data.thanks alot

you should try to do a system restore back to a date BEFORE you loaded windows vista. This should bring your system back to its original state.

"i must enter the key num. and i dont have that thing coze i brought this cd from my friend" You MUST activate Vista or Vista will stop working, because MS thinks it's pirated.

If it is a legal copy, ask your friend for the Vista Activation code, you paid for it. If it isn't a legal copy, ask for your money back and un-install Vista.
