I already did the network setup wizard, I right click a folder on my client computer, and I put it up for sharing, and then I went to my hosting computer, I could see the files fine, but if I did it vice verca, It says that the client doesn't have enough like authority to do it, how do i change this? The client can't even see the "shared documents" folder... and you know when your in the network on windows explorer? and it shows workgroup computers (all the computers in the network) my client can't get into the host one cause of the pop up that says it doesn't have the privilige or something like that

(the client is the computer that is not the administrator)
The pop-up says:
\\(host computer name) is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The network name cannot be found.

Try this answer.

Create a new account on both machines that is the SAME name and the same unique password with Admin rights.
Example: username Tom password Jones for both computers.
Make sure that File and Printer sharing is enabled on both systems and that it has an exception in the Windows Firewall on both systems. Make sure that both Systems use the same WORKGROUP name.

Once you have all that done, RIGHT click on any folder(you want to share) on either system. Click on sharing and security and click on share. In Vista just right click the folder and click SHARE. Now any folders you have shared should be available from either system. This may take a few minutes to "propogate" on your LAN. It takes the systems involved a few minutes to let one another know what is shared for whom.

Make sure File and Printer Sharing is enabled on the client computer, as well as double-checking the security permissions set up on the shared folder.

Then you need to give the client PC privileges to access the server. This can usually be done by hostname or IP address.
