You should discharge the battery at least once a week and then recharge it. They say these batteries don't have a "memory", I tend to disagree.

Not the best thing to do if you using it like a desktop never moved from where you set it up. If you are going to plug you laptop for more than 3 hours general rule is to remove battery. Look at the manufacturers recommendations in the users manual for exact information because you didn't say what type laptop you are using.

If you plan not using your laptop for quite some time, charge/discharge the battery to recommended level (check your manual, mine is 40% capacity), then remove it from laptop.
If you mean always plugged in to AC power, I personally remove the battery from my laptop. Just to be safe.

It's OK, but ideally you should alternate between leaving the cord in and letting the battery drain so your laptop will not overheat. Overheating could damage your laptop. But if your laptop is a newer model and hasn't shown any signs of overheating, then its OK to leave it plugged in.

No battery out for always doing that; I found that out after wasted a Lithium Ion, so don't believe the marketing talk that no "Memory Effect" in their batteries.

When I had my laptop I didn't hurt it but when my aunt had it, it would crash without the lead in. I suggest for safety reasons you disconnect the battery if you aren't chraging it and you are using the lead as a power source

No its not.
You should use the battery, unless u want to do heavy things like burn a dvd.
If u keep it always plugged it will bcome "ADICTED" and when u need its autonomy it will FAIL.

I heard that kills the battery faster and if you can, you're suppose to take the battery out if you're going to do that.
