If I take out the platters from an electronically damaged hard disk drive and put them inside of a working drive [different capacity, model & maybe different brand], is it possible for it to properly function, at least until recovering data?
Or it needs to be an identical unit to the one I take out the platters from?

hi, can anyone give me some pointers my website will come up on yahoo, google ect but at number 11 or so.
i have just changed the website to have maximum text content for these search engines but they dont seem to have changed on yahoo ect. will it take time for yahoo to update there records or do i need to resubmite.

Do I need a special program to use a PCMCIA Wireless Card Bus in my Mac G3 laptop OS9.2.3.... When I plug it in it just comes up on the screen but I cant do anything with it,

i have a table named tblPerson. There is a field in it named PersonID. the data type of the PersonID is nvarchar(5).
there were 9999 rows in the table when i added the series of 10000-10010 it is not sorting the data as it should it. it is showing 10001 - 10010 after the rows of 1000 which is wrong why is it what should i do?

its says ive uploaded copyrighted material, and that because of it, its been removed, because someones reported copyrighted material, but when i looked at my myspace profile, i cant see anything that was removed........my project playlist jukebox is still on there, myspace and youtube music videos....im confused and worried about what i should do, can anyone help?.....heres the mesage i got:~

Im thinking of buying an EVGA 8800GTS 320MB, but I don't know if my power supply is adequate enough for it. According to my power supply at the moment (Speedfan) here are the voltages:

+2.5: 1.47V
Vcore: 1.27V
+3.3: 3.35V
+5: 5.12V
+12: 12.06V

I know it says on the item description that it needs to have a minimum of 400watts/+12V rating of 26amps, im just not sure if my power supply can get up that high with the +12V rating and not sure how many watts it can put out. I looked on 3 different sides of the power supply for a readoff of the ratings, but I didnt see them. Im guessing its either on the side thats blocked from my view,cause its IN my computer, or theres no list of ratings. Please can someone tell me if you think it can handle an 8800gts or am I gona need to get one?

they are the only dsl provider in my area (i live in new york)and i personally think they overprice their service cuz they are the only provider in my area. I need to know if 50 kb/sec download 20 kb/sec upload for 40$ a month is a reasonable price for that speed. And if not, what speed should i be getting for 40$ a month and what should i do about it.
and cable isnt avaible in my area, and i wouldnt get it n e way ive heard bad things about it. what should i do??!?! complain to them or what?
and i did complain to them before one time, and they came over and checked it out and saying i was actually gettin FASTER than what other people r getting

does anyone have an idea i what should i do about this? should i complain to them or something? can i run some legal law suit.
