I've been using DVD Shrink with Nero to burn DVD's for a long time, always works wonderful.
But yesterday I downloaded an AVI DVD Rip, watched it on my computer and everything was perfect quality and sound.
I used Nero Vision Express [for the first time] to transcode the file from AVI to VOB so that it would burn to my DVD+R disc, and it DID.

However- a few problems occured:

A] there was a small layer at the bottom of the picture that was fuzzy the entire movie.
B] the audio was out of sync with the picture by about 1/2 of a second the entire movie.
C] the "skip forward a scene" and "rewind back a scene" options didnt work, as if the movie was all one big scene.

do you know what went wrong??

Are there any decent free photo programs I can download to alter a regular picture and change it so it looks like it is drawn?

I know it can be done pretty simply but the one I have on my computer it had "copyright" and "watermarks" all over every photo because its not a free program.

Any suggestions?

To quickly find words in large volumes of text, we just enter the keyword in the "Find" feature of Notepad or a similar text editor. The function finds in the desired word, if its in text, in a fraction of a second.

It cant be a sequential word by word search..it would have takem too long. It cant be binary search. Then what is it?

Can anybody out there please tell me what is the algorithm that the function this "Find" feature uses?

I am making a html website and want to post some pictures. How can I keep these picture from being download or saved by others that view them. My motherboard has space for 20 pins and 4 pins, but my new PSU has 24 and 6. Why type should i buy instead?

Also, on the new PSU the +12V stat is split into +12V1 and 12V2. Can you just add them together to work out if it has more +12V power than my old PSU?

Ok I have a Car, Truck and Senior. I have to input C for Car, T for Truck, S for Senior. Our instructor wants us to input the the One letter but show the whole word.

So I did
cout<<" Type.....";
cin>> type ;

From here I punch in C, and only C shows up. How can i punch in C, but have Car show up instead??? Is that possible

Someone suggest the switch statement, but it didn't work plus that is a little to advanced for where are class is now. All I can get is inputting C, just the letter C comes out. I did something with an if statement and Cars came out on the next line.

I want to punch in C but when I hit enter I don't want it to be there, just the word Car, Truck or Senior. Any help

Recently I've been trying to burn a CD on iTunes. Every time I put a blank disc into my computer and push Burn Disc at the bottom right corner, it says at the top, "Disc burner or software not found...".

I would like to know WHY IT SAYS THAT even though a have a blank disc in my computer.

When I depress caps lock, it shows as "on" but now everything types in lower case. The numbers still show as !@#$ even when I do this. It appears the keyboard configuration was changed, but I have no idea how it was changed or how to change it back. Thank you for your help.
