when inserting a picture url should I insert http: microsftbefore the name of my pic file ? I am absolutely cluless to where my picture urls look like, thanks

Is the picture on the same host as your html file?
Is it in the same directory?
If it is in the same folder, then
...whatever...
...or if you have a separate "images" folder underneath the main html folder then...
... or if your image is on a different website then ...
...or...
...

Make your way to the page your pic is on and right click it and choose copy shortcut.....
past it in your html code . what is pasted is the url to the pic...
