Minimize both windows so the both of them fit on the screen

IE:: not overlapping each other.

Here is what i do... i minimize (make the window smaller) the page I am typing on and let that one overlap the one i may be copying from and then you can move your page around as needed........ I hope that helps....

You can click on that page to keep it on top but then the page that you are typing will be covered.
