I have reinstalled it. I also ran all of the updates that came up on "software update". All of the other programs in the suite are working (Soundtrack, Live Type, DVD Studio Pro). It's just Final Cut Pro that won't work.

i just bought a new computer and lcd monitor, but my computer hasn't arrived yet. i hooked my monitor up to my old computer[about 6 years old and definitely not the best], and the screen now has a yellow tint to it. i adjusted the colors and everything else i could think of, but nothing worked. is it because of the computer, and should i wait until the new one comes in? or is something wrong with the monitor itself? i'm not very good with this stuff. thank you!

What does this mean? This message pops up everytime I will try to open Warcraft 3 in my PC. I will get a blackend screen with the words "H. V Frequency Over Range" but I do have an audio.

My monitor's a 15' CRT by ViewSonic (model E50cSB) and my video card's Sparkle 7300GT 256MB 128 bit DDR 2...

This problem doesn't occur all the time. Sometimes I have to restart my computer once or twice and the game will run ok. Sometimes it just won't.

What's the problem and what can I do about this?

Well, on this computer we have two user acounts. On this one the internet works fine. However, on the other it won't connect.

The computer tells me that the connection seed is there, yet it won't conect!

I don't get why it would be on this acount and not the other, but I will take any help I can get! It is really important to get the internet on the other acount.

BTW, i don't know if it helps but we have comcast (I don't like them....)

I want to put new software on my computer. How do I delete the old to install the new. I tried going to control panel but for some odd reason I can not do it. I just need to know how to delete software. I'm a little confused because on my desk computer I can just right click and delete and this is just more confusing for me. All I've ever used it for is writting papers for school but I just feel like it's time to upgrade to better software and wanted to try to mess with it myself. HELP

Its actually my inlaws computer, its 4 years old, has 512 mb RAM. It takes 20 minutes to completely start up. they have 2 "users", and to switch between the 2 takes 20 minutes as well. Is it the ram? would having only 1 user help?

Intel Celeron M 1.73GHz Processor
1GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory and 120GB Hard Drive
Windows Vista Home Basic
Dual Layer DVD+/-RW Super Multi-Drive
Notebook Essentials 2007 Software Bundle

I will upgrade the memory to 4gb DDR2... Will Far Cry, Half Life 2, Halo, Halo 2, GTA San Andreas, The Sims 2, Doom 3 and other high end games work smoothly? If only I can upgrade the video card, I will upgrade it to the newest ATI video card. HD2900xt.

A Pentium 4 3.2 GHz (Dual Core) 935 (2MBx2) 800FSB or a
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 1.8 GHz (2MB) 800FSB?

Now, I'm totally perplexed by these two processors, the Pentium 4 specs is pretty good,
but I know that Intel Core 2 Duo is the latest processor by Intel. I live here in the Philippines
and their price is actually just a 100 Php difference - P4 3.2 GHz (5800Php or around 126.09$ in here)
Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz (5700Php or around 123.91$ in here ) [1$=46Php]

I know that The Core 2 Duo is fast enought to run Sonar 6, Pro Tools or some other heavy programs
but the Pentium 4 is pretty good also... Can you please choose for me so I can buy what's the best (I
know the 2 is best for me) but I just need 1... Please give me reasons also why that processor is more
better to pick. Thanks guys!

Hello..
My computer won't boot past the "Hp" Bios screen if i have a CMOS battery inserted.. If i remove the battery, I can boot fine.. I want to use this pc as a server, without a keyboard/mouse or monitor. If i start without CMOS battery, it'll ask me to press F2 to resume boot, or something like that..

Does anyone have any idea why it locks up when CMOS battery is inserted, and works fine when there is no CMOS battery inserted??

Please note: I have tested two (2) CR2032 batterys, and one CR2025.. all to no avail.

I turned the pc off. came back again 10mins later.. to find it now doesnt even boot at all.. Any ideas?

is there any way i can install software into my system that require administrator privilages without them using some crack or something like that. i'm in need of such a software that let's me allow any software install without administrator privilages only for myself of course. and mind it that this software shouldnt need administrator priviliges. anyway thanks buddy
