I am Running OSX 10.3.9 and Final Cut Pro 5. Every time I try to run it, it crashes. How do I fix this?

I have reinstalled it. I also ran all of the updates that came up on "software update". All of the other programs in the suite are working (Soundtrack, Live Type, DVD Studio Pro). It's just Final Cut Pro that won't work.

I was of the understanding that the mac was the best thing in the computer world since the rising of the sun... could it be the mac is no better than a normal PC..

Now If I paid that price for a mac I would want everything to work as it should, so here is what I would do.... go to the mac support web site and hit the mac geeks with the problems you're having. after all you have paid for the best (or so you thought) and you want the best performance out of your system, nothing less,

and while your at it, join the Final Cut Pro 5 user group.. there you will get all the help you will need on using the program....
