What shld i install in order to read jsp and asp file on my laptop?

For ASP open your file on Front page.
you can not see this script on notepad because it is hid for security reason.

YOU don't have to download any specific software for this I am sure your laptop may be having wordpad or notepad, you can use the same to open the jsp and asp files. OK

They are both Web server languages you should not have them if you are not the programmers in charge. They are text files just like HTML, Web servers should process them and send them as HTML to your browser.
If you were offered to "download" them it is a bug by the part of Internet Explorer (or whatever browser) fix it simply by trying the link again.
