Sadly in the body of the auction both Kingston and Samsung are mentioned - I suspect the seller didn't check the listing carefully before going live with it.
I'd love to say go after them via PP - but honestly, PP will deduct £15.00 from whatever you reclaim, so you will only get a minimum back.
Try and negotiate with the seller to exchange item for what you want - bearing in mind you will have to stand the cost of some of the postage too sadly.
Bit of a no win situation, I think.
Make sure you leave him a big fat red neg at the end of all of this - keep it factual so he looks the fool.
Good luck

Right at the top of the description it does' say Kingston & Samsung memory....you obviously made it clear you wanted a Kingston......
You should email the company (they do specify that they're NOT a private seller) & ask them to exchange it for what you originally asked for.
It states that they have a 7 day return policy.....if you can't get any joy from them at all, then get in touch with paypal & explain the situation....but they'll only really get involved if you've tried all you can to solve the problem with the company yourself first.....
It's a pain in the ar$e, you're right. Hope you manage to get it sorted......

i think you should try and contact the seller first and explain what hs happened, if that person doen't seem to want to know, contact ebay and paypal, as he can be done for misleading/sendiing the wrong one.
contact the seller, thn ebay and then paypal if need be, if none of the abovwe work, the police are a good idea too
hope it all gets sorted an this has helped

Yes, you received something other than what you ordered, but were you injured?
Samsung memory, in my experience, is as good as it gets.
The folks at ebaY do very little to prevent and/or contain fraud. If this is the worst experience you ever have on ebaY, consider yourself lucky. You're much better off buying on Amazon.

If what is delivered is not what is despatched then you have a case. However Samsung is good RAM and if the size is as advertised then personally I wouldn't bother.
