I want to buy a DVB tuner for my laptop,I was wondering if it provides me access to normal TV channels as well as Digital ones?

i have just bought a geforce 6200(256mb) and i have managed to install them in vista but how do i see some aero effects ,these things that everyone is going on about
i have also upgraded my ram from 768mb to 1gb ram so i am wondering how i can see "aero effects"

every time i use it,something has changed,or i cant do a daily routine,,cant get into some sites that i was in the day before..can i run a certain disk that will remove everything back to its new condition ?? will this get rid of any hackers or viruses that are buried too deep to get at?? any easier suggestions please??? thankyou.

Last week I upgraded my computer. The problem now is I need a new PSU you handle the power side. I am just wondering though whether a a computer PSU uses its full quota of watts all of the time or simply when it is needed. I don't mean when it is turned off obviously I am just wondering whether if I got a 500W PSU it would draw all that electricity all the time the machine was on. If this is the case I may have to give up with the upgrade due to my living in a student flat with an electricity meter.

I found a card that seems to be pretty good

It's a Radeonx1600PRO

the price isn't to ba neither

What's your opinion on it , Have you used it before?

The specs seem to be good , Is their anything that tend to be wrong with this type of card if so , whats usually wrong?

Also is their a better card then this? in the same price range ?


Can you play in the highest settings in most games , like WoW

and Planetside?


Also Does more RAM = Better game play or no?

Because i barely have 1GB of RAM , and i wanted to try out a game which you need about 1GB+ to play

Could i still play?

From virtually 50% of hardspace I am down to 10g! All I have done differently is to disconnect broadband modem and attach a wireless router so daughter can use laptop and suddenly my c drive is critically low on space.
I do all the correct stuff: defrag, remove old programs etc, but still critical!

Any ideas please?

It got stuck like three times in a row, so i had to take out the battery to start working again...the third time i managed to shut it down whith proper shut down button. Do you have any idea why it suddenly froze? It does not have any virus according to scanning I did afterwards...please help...what should I do, if it repeats?
