hey people ...am usin win xp pro ....n i have lost the password.....
actually my lil sis had locked it when i allowed her to use this pc... jus beacuse she was upset with me..... she had also hidden all my password resseting disks.....so pls help me...am at loss...i have lot of work to do on xp...but don wanna ask my sis bout the password..... i have win 98 se also installed on my pc.....is there any way by which i can recover my xp password while workin on 98?. which folder in xp do i need to go... mostprobably i need to go to some registry tweaks...or some folder.......pls help people..........plssssssss
also i have tried the safe mode admin option..... i have forgotten its password created by me....so also cant logon even ob safe mode

I want to design a Java applet that can start another Java program that will be used for socket based communication. I tried to make the communication with another applet but I’ve failed. So, I’ve got the idea of using a Java program for communication to be called from an applet. Is that possible. How? Any one can assist me?

I now have an icon on the tool bar that flashes between an X and a ?. It also has a balloon that keeps flashing up saying 'critical systems error, however I think it itself is a bug. It keeps logging me on to its site which looks like an internet security program, but I think its a bug. How do I get rid og this thing? I have Mcafee security but this doesnt seem to be able to help. I also cant seem to delete it from the program list. Any advice to get rid of this f****er????

Mac VS PC. With the advantages of both, why is it so hard to find software, games or accessories for Mac? I love my Mac, but I have such a hard time finding ANYTHING that will work on it.

We had a power outage a couple of days ago. I have wireless internet and I use my neighbors signal to connect. Now, when I click on the "computer icon" at the bottom right of my screen to "view the wireless internet connections" a screen comes up that tells me that windows "cannot configure this wireless connection". Whereas before, I could click onto "view the wireless internet networks" and 3 of them would come up. I was able to refresh them, change the order of them and so on. Now I can't.
I am connected thru a "linksys" connection obviously or I wouldn't be able to connect to you guys out there for help.
I've tried doing the network set up wizard thing but it didn't work.
I've tried reinstalling windows. Didn't work.
How do I get windows to configure the internet connection and how do I find out what "program is enabled" if any that I have mistakenly allowed to configure whatever internet connections I do have.
