Yeah there probably is a removal tool. If you can get the name I know you can do a search for directions on the Ineternet to remove it.

You should also try a program called Gaim for your instant messenger. It was made for Unix but has one ported for Windows. My guess is that there is some kinda Buffer Overflow in yahoo messenger software that allowed the code to be executed on your system.

My mom was ignoreing me when she got one. It finally IMd me to see some girl naked or something while my mom was sleeping on the couch so I woke her up. She was told all kinds of junk by her online friends, but those people are infected and get hacked some times.

One thing she was told was to uninstall Y!M and install Y!M

But,... that junk had her Password, so I had to drive her nuts to get her to change her Password.

I have a friend that works for companies to try to fight this stuff. He said the one website my mom got her's from (yes, everyone was getting IMd a website and that's all it took to get hacked was visiting the website) and he said that the stuff was linked to someone's computer at home. This meant that I was right,.. they had her password,.. a real human on that computer could use her password any time.

So when you finish other steps, change your Password.

It appears you don't have any AV or AS programs on your computer. Go here and run an online scan.
