it depends if you have a cell phone you can go to the website and login and send one that way. or get a cell phone some us cell phone company are t-mobile, sprint, nextell, boost mobile, Verizon, at&t, vergen mobile, and quest. if you get any of these you can send thim a txt message. i recomand t-mobile they work every where i have been that is 30 of the 50 states an japian france germany and some of the uk

You would need to go to the website of your friend's carrier (Tmobile, Cigular, Verizon, etc) for instructions.
In most cases, the protocol is [telephone number]@domain.com, but the domain varies by carrier and it is not always the carrier's main domain.
