I've noticed that Spydoctor needs a subscription for the full version. Is there any free spyware checking programs that are totally 100% free and worth downloading. I find the MS one is crap.

I have a question about my computer files?

Yesterday, I just downloaded Windows Vista Pack 5.5 and when and I installed it to an older computer that supported windows xp. It still let me install it but when I was installing it, it said that it is not recommended to install this program because it had to write over certain files and the system would become unstable. It installed fine on that old computer, but I was just wandering if it would be ok to install it to my new good-working computer. If I did install it on my good computer with Wxp by the way, and something happened, would I be able to undo it by doing a system restore. Would it undo all the modifications that that program has made to my computer? All the program is, is a program that modifies files and settings to make computer look and feel like Windows Vista.

I am moving in with a friend and he already has sbcglobal. I would like to know if there is a way that I can still keep my yahoo accont under this name, and also if there is a way that I can transfer all of my bookmarks to my new screename under his? Any help would be great!

My yahoo id niket_s_vaidya@yahoo.co.in is hacked?

I am not able to access my yahoo mails nor messenger using my id niket_s_vaidya@yahoo.co.in.
Also i have found that my Orkut id (Google service) was hacked and my profile was edited to very weird.

We were putting a new cd-rom in my computer and nocticed two plugs with numbers not hooked to anything shoul

The plugs are numbered. I also have a dvd-rom and disc drive. They all seem to have plugs. The reason I'm replacing cd-rom
is it didn't light up or open. Can you tell me if there are extra plugs
for adding components?

Graphic card help please!!!?

I've just accidently uninstalled my graphic card driver.. And restarted the PC. Now when I turn on the PC, all I hear is a loud "beep..... beep" sound, the PC seems frozed and the moniter is blank.

Find occurrence of dates inside a given year?

Hi all,

I have a table containing daily dates of working days through several years.

What I would like to have is to be able to choose a date and then find its corresponding date one year later.

An example would be: the date 2000-01-01 and its corresponding date: 2001-01-01. The problem is that 2000-01-01 wasn't a working day and so I will not be able to find it in my table.

Is there any trick for telling mySQL to find a corresponding date in a certain interval that is also actually found in the table?

Am I clear with my question??

Is it difficult to design a website?

I'm confident using Word, used to be a phototypesetter - but computer stuff in general, not so good as I don't understand many computing terms. In other words, a bit of a computer wimp! However, I'd like to be able to design websites - as long as it's within my capabilities!
Advice, someone?
