i had not made the connection of internet & it used to show norton antivirus subscription expired. how do i renew it?

I created a boot disk, ms-dos on Windows XP Pro, it loads into dos but I am still not able to execute any commands properly, I try typing in "format c:" and all it says is "Bad command or file name" and it says this on any command I type. Some advice would be appreciated.

I just bought a new HP all-in-one C3180 printer(ink #92-93), but I also have a HP all-in-one 1311(ink #27-28). I still have a couple of ink cartiges from the 1311, is it ok if I use them in the new C3180?

My brother and I take turns using the computer. I've tried getting a little timer that went on the desktop that had a pop up come up when his turn is over but he always has an excuse why he needs to stay on and he gives me a hard time, making me wait a while before he can finally log off. Is there some way I can just press a key on the keyboard to 'lock up' the computer or some other simple way?

I guess the real question would be, can a computer with only 2.19GHz possibly run WSP2? (The minimum requirement is 233MHz - is that the same as 2.33GHz?) I'm guessing the reason why microsoft won't let me access the update for WSP2 is because my system doesn't meet the requirement, but is it at all possible for me to download it from somewhere else, and have it work just tolerably well?

I tried downloading from other websites, and opened the file after it downloaded, and it would extract or copy files, or whatever. But it hasn't updated my computer to WSP2, is there something else I have to do? Or is it just my computer not meeting the requirements?

Any comments at all would be appreciated, thanks for reading...

Well I have a 1 Ghz computer with 768 ram and a 128 Ram GFX card. Im just wondering if a slower computer processor like mine might effect total internet bandwidth and downloading rates, EVEN if the computer is squeaky clean of viruses and spyware. Any thoughts? Thanks!

on my daughters comp, there is Mcafee, AVG, spybot and Nukerxt.. the only one picking up 3 trojans, is Mcafee.. i can't clean, delete or Quantine.. soo i'm thinking the only way 2 remove them, is 2 delete Mcafee : ) which i don't trust anyways.. any ideas anyone ? the comp is running a little slow as is..

I remember when Yahoo! Photos use to have charcoal, color schemes (solarize, etc) and stuff. But they don't have it anymore. So i've been wanting to add some look to some really good pics i have. I just bought a usb pen, and it has a small switch on the side of it, I had it connected to my pc and tried the switch, but all it did was close and reopen the "temporary storage folder" that the usb pen opens when connected to a pc. any ideas what the switch does?
