I need help on a win 98 sound issue.?

new sound card. cp knows its there. but wont or cant read the disk. ie... no drivers found.

I would suggest uninstalling the sound card from Device Manager and then reinstalling it.

or try this

used SFC to restore the deleted files for my sound card...

Goto RUN and type "sfc" and restore all sound card files that come up as deleted....
