God no, all your memory does is let you do tasks and work on your computer. Its a necessary component, but it doesnt have anythnig to do with your system. Maybe your mistaking it with your hard drive.

If you do a complete overhaul with the discs from the manufacturer, it is supposed to reinstall drivers and memory and return the computer to the original state at the time of purchase.
