I just got a sorta new computer, it's windows XP home sp2 just like my old one. But this one will close down my Internet connection when I switch from one user account to another. my old computer never did that I remember that it would ask me if I wanted to close down the connection when I switched I set it so it wouldn't. But this new one is already set to shut off the connection, I wanted to know if there was a way to switch it so it won't?

I have an old computer that worked fine. I want to give it a factory restory (destructive) but I cant find the disks.

Ok, I asked a question about this a few minutes ago, I created a ms-dos boot disk and copied the format.com file to it, and now when I try to type in "format c:" it says "This program cannot be run in DOS mode." What am I supposed to do now to be able to use the "format c:" command and have it work? I have win. xp pro and a ntfs hard drive.
