Do I need to do something to make it accessible to other people (besides having it be publicly broadcasted), or does it just take some time to be available on the search feature?

The video must first be rendered and then added to the directories. It usually takes about a couple hours to a day :)
Try speeding up the process by adding some tags, and flesh our your video description. The more you write and tag, the greater the chance people will find your video when it gets indexed into the database.

You need to go back to where you put in ,login to it and make sure you check public or for friends only. Then you need to double check the url because the spelling or a dot can throw it off. Can you see your video? when you sign in using the url they gave you. And how long ago did you put it in, about two weeks then it should be there.

It does take a little while to pop up on the directory. I get that sometimes on my account
