As no-one here seems to have answered your question (very nice of them just to call you a cheap skate I thought), here's my offering.
I would probably opt for the Sapphire ATI Radeon X1600XT 256MB GDDR3 PCI-E VGA DVI TV. Mainly because I have always used Radeons in the past and my card is about 3 years older than this and still going strong. I can't fault them. Also my card only has 64Mb onboard and performs well, whereas this one has 256Mb so its likely to rock. You can see the specs here:
http://www.savastore.com/productinfo/product.aspx?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10288683&pid=0&rstrat=3165
I tend to buy from savastore because its considerably cheaper than the high street and you get good value for money. Be warned if you go with them though that they can be slow delivering (its the price you pay for the reduction in cost).
Using savastore as an example, here are your other options in the 60-80 quid bracket: (scroll down)
http://www.savastore.com/catalog/browse.aspx?cat_id=3165&vc=&l_price=60.00&r_price=%C2%A380
I hope that helps in some way. I'm not amazingly technical so I can't offer you any stronger advice, but in my opinion you can't go wrong with a Radeon.
Best of luck with it!

While the X1600XT that gromitski linked you to is a good deal on a fast card (it's the one I'd buy, personally), the X1650Pro and the nVidia 7600GS (from the second link) are both roughly as fast as the X1600XT. And while a bit slower, the third card down this page (Sapphire X1600 Pro) is ~20 quid cheaper, and has decent performance: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/X1600_Series.html
Here's what my AGP X1600 Pro does with F.E.A.R. @ 1024x768: http://img201.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fear1024x768gk5.jpg @ 1152x864: http://img201.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fear1152x864wp4.jpg and @ 1280x960: http://img201.imageshack.us/my.php?image=fear1280x960lx7.jpg

I'm not really sure which type of card you're looking for. AGP, PCI, or PCI express. Here's a couple links to some good cards in your price range.

you can get a great 7900gs from www.newegg.com for about £106. It's what I'm using and I love it. Great bang for the buck. I'm not really sure what the ATI equivalent to that is.
