Whenever I open it, start page doesn’t load and immediately error message pops up “IE has encountered a problem and needs to close…”.Moreover. I tried to get rid of new version - remove program and return to IE6 that worked pretty good before, but something doesn’t let me install IE6. I’ve tried System Restore; download IE6 from my operating sys CD. It doesn’t even let me delete IE folder from Program Files. Even when I start Firefox same error message pops up, I close it, then Firefox works. Does anyone have solution? I’ll greatly appreciate.

I want to be able to switch users on my computer without having to shut it completly down, but when I go to user accounts (form control panel) and click on "change the way a user logs on or off", I get a message that says "client services for netware has disabled the welcome screen and fast user switching, and that I must uninstall "client services for netware" in order to restore it. How do I do this? (I have windows xp)

hey people ...am usin win xp pro ....n i have lost the password.....
actually my lil sis had locked it when i allowed her to use this pc... jus beacuse she was upset with me..... she had also hidden all my password resseting disks.....so pls help me...am at loss...i have lot of work to do on xp...but don wanna ask my sis bout the password..... i have win 98 se also installed on my pc.....is there any way by which i can recover my xp password while workin in 98?.... mostprobably i need to go to some registry tweaks...or some folder.......pls help people..........plssssssss

I'm not sure of the name of the program but this program has been tracking my computer for very long although i have already remove it.It even disturb me when i sign in to msn.Each time i talk to my friends ,it will automatically send a message saying ''go to thieir website and download the program its free'' but even if you download it ,they didn't give you anything but just keep sending messages to my friends.Can anyone pls teach me how to remove this tracking device?

Obviously everyone has different needs, but I basically want a really good computer that I'm not going to have to upgrade for at least five years. I don't do a lot of gaming but I want to be able to use my PC as a PVR while I surf the net, do some image editing and listen to music. I just went to cyberpower, and read the list of all the components of one of their systems, and picked out each exact component over at newegg.com and put it in my shopping cart...

The end result was the comp from cyber power cost $999 with free shipping, and all the parts from newegg cost $1,069 plus shipping

I know how to build a computer, and would like to do that, but if it's cheaper to buy a pre-built, why would I want to order the parts and build it myself? It seems like more money, more work and less warranty. Am I right on this?
