Is there a way to change the local IP address of my BT Home Hub from 192.168.1.254 to something else such as 192.168.1.101?

It may be fixed and unchangeable. Why would you want to if you could? You can have 256 computers theoretically in that address range for you computer. Are you getting two devices conflicting in the same network? have you or another user on the network used that address for their computer? Good luck!

After some fishing, and mucking, I managed to answer my own question! To do it you need to got to the web interface, then go to >Advance and log in as admin (password-admin) then go to >Home Network and >Interfaces and then >LocalNetwork and click on >Configure you can then change or add a new IP address and change the DHCP address lists.
