hey people ...am usin win xp pro ....n i have lost the password.....
actually my lil sis had locked it when i allowed her to use this pc... jus beacuse she was upset with me..... she had also hidden all my password resseting disks.....so pls help me...am at loss...i have lot of work to do on xp...but don wanna ask my sis bout the password..... i have win 98 se also installed on my pc.....is there any way by which i can recover my xp password while workin in 98?.... mostprobably i need to go to some registry tweaks...or some folder.......pls help people..........plssssssss

Go buy new software...Try winxp....IT SUCKS!!!

a million. in hardship-free words in case your report approach is FAT32 ( you'll look into that through ultimate clicking the stress that consists of your xp os and going to homes) 2. Take a back up of the report c:windowssystem32config'sam' ( c: is the stress which consists of your xp) 3. Delete the report 'sam' from the above folder 4. restart including your xp. 5. if it does no longer artwork restoration the report you subsidized up and have a glance at some aspect else ( i'm out eh?)

Did you know Admin. password?(entering while setup,it may be didnt entered,try blank).Them choose XP,and press F8,select safemode.
Username:Administrator
Password:
After logon,cntrl pnl -> usr accnt, and change your user password! Done!!
