Had a problem with my sons old PC, running windows ME. The system.ini file is corrupt.
Mouse doesnt work, except in safe mode. I cannot change the display settings and the latest development is that it will not boot into normal mode at all, only safe mode.
I have been told the only thing that I can do is to re-install windows me, but it came without any OS disc or recovery disc.
so, do I really need to re-install or does anyone have any other useful suggestions
The PC has quite a lot of student work on it, as well as genealogical data.

also, where do you get windows discs from. I am only looking for 98/ME/2000 - and i cant find them for sale anywhere

I've built this web site. The problem is when I view it with Mozilla's fire fox, none of the gifs work. When I open it with Internet Explorer it works perfectly. Is thier something I can do to make it work with both browsers?

I want to have an input button called Browse... when i click on it, i want that a dialog box should appear and i should be able to select a file from that dilog box. (i want those file types to be *.mp3, *.wav only). When i click on open, i want that the full path and name of the file(s) to be displayed in a textbox called txtFile.

I want to be able to select multiple files. Please tell what javascript or vbscript OR ANY OTHER SCRIPT code that i should enter to browse files.

Please help!!!!!!!!

I've recently got a virus called I-Worm/VB.GG ...
AVG opened and said Virus detected , when I was about to delete.. I accidentally clicked the Ignore button. Then I scanned the file where I-Worm was found. It sez No Virus Found. I just deleted the file and it never appeared again.
Do I still have the virus?
Will I still detect future I-Worm/Vb.GG viruses?
Give me pls. more info..
