I've recently got a virus called I-Worm/VB.GG ...
AVG opened and said Virus detected , when I was about to delete.. I accidentally clicked the Ignore button. Then I scanned the file where I-Worm was found. It sez No Virus Found. I just deleted the file and it never appeared again.
Do I still have the virus?
Will I still detect future I-Worm/Vb.GG viruses?
Give me pls. more info..

Believe the "ignore" is for that time only. So it should detect that virus in the future. But if you are concerned, would recommend that you uninstall AVG and redownload and reinstall. That should clean any settings and guarantee that it will detect that virus in the future.

To be honest, I'm not damn sure that your PC is virus-free. But 80% the virus is gone.
You could have renamed the infected file, and scan it, but it's ok.
I don't use AVG. To double check, try to find some options in AVG regarding scanning options.
Excluding a virus from scanning is very doubtful. It's for specific files only. Since you deleted the file, you may scan your system again to find out.
