its SPAM - a scam - to collect the money you would only have to send your bank details and every other bit of info that would allow someone to steal your money and/or identity

I have "Lottery Prizes" totalling over $2 billion so far... keep on playing!!! The "Prizes" are from 19 nations, many of which I was certain were too poor to even have lotteries. Nigeria? Congo??
And, I saw one where they "gave" me a bridge in Brooklyn!!!
My problem is: how to move it to Florida!?
All required that I send them several thousand dollars of money, or, give out my bank account information. That means that they are scams.
When you "WIN" something, that means that they give YOU the money, first, the taxes held back, NOT you pay THEM!!! DUH!!!
Now, if you really want FREE STUFF, go and grab the FREE operating systems, that are LIVE on liveCDroms, so they run in the CD, and in RAM, and not on the hard drive! Each contains 1900 FREE Games, programs, applications:

Did you buy the Lottery Ticket?
No, you didn't!
So, ain't it obvious?
Guess what they'll tell you next?
The prize money is at Nigeria!?
And you need to hire a lawyer there!?
And you need to pay him in advance!?
And when you do, goodbye money!?
It's the oldest scam in the book.

Seriously, do you really need to ask? Of course it's a scam!
In a way though, if you can't see a scam like that from a mile away, you kind of deserve to be scammed...

Um. No. It certainly does not. Please note the e-mail address. Unless it's legit you're out of luck. It's a message looking for stupid people to fill out their info.
