I've tried a few of the free ones. Take $40 and go to Office MAx and buy a business card maker. There are some very good ones at reasonable prices. Most kits come with everything you need to make 100-500 cards to get ya started.

You can do it use Word (has a template in it for business cards) or even Wordpad. Free with Windows.
Using Wordpad, set your margins to fit the left side of the business card paper. Create one card. Copy it down the page to make all 10 cards. Save the document.
Reopen the document and reset the margins to print on the right half of the page and save under a new name.
To print, load a sheet of business cards, print the left side, reload, and print the right side.
Done for free.
