From virtually 50% of hardspace I am down to 10g! All I have done differently is to disconnect broadband modem and attach a wireless router so daughter can use laptop and suddenly my c drive is critically low on space.
I do all the correct stuff: defrag, remove old programs etc, but still critical!
Any ideas please?

My guess is virus if your network is unsecured, somebody might have dropped you one.Try running Anti-virus. If that dosen't help, take it to a professional and tell them your problem to see what they say.

Sounds very much like a Virus thats on your system run your Anti Virus software now to check it.

go either to see some one in a computer shop or unstall it and try it again it will work which other way
