Hi, I am wondering if putting in a #130 jet in my bike will give it better throttle response and run a lot better because i have a uni-air filter on my bike with a stock #120 jet and an after market exhaust from a 2003 cr80r bike which right know it won't even pull a wheelie or even spin the tires without stalling or bogging. Right know i have a #120 in it but i have a: #130,140, or 150 jet for it as spares just incase. We have tried adjusting it but we can't get a right setting the way my bike is. I just want to give it that much power to atleast have a challenge when racing my friends. Please answer because i need help badly. Thanks.

your driving down the street and you see your 15 year old daughter on the back of a harley davidson with a big guy with a dirty looking beard and a chain hanging off of his belt and they are both wearing vest that say '' hells angels'' on them.

would you just wait till she got home or would you follow the bike and see where they go?

when they stopped would you confront them right their on the spot?

Ok..this is basically gonna be pro-harley but it pertains to all who ride and the non riding know it alls.Ive read comments lately about how Harley riders are hooligans, thugs, criminals and basically no-good SOB's.but I gotta say this...Do you all realize how many MILLIONS of dollars is raised by Harley riders each year to benefit those who need it? What about th Motor Companys contributions to Muscular Dystrophy each year along with what the riders come up with? There are charity runs for Rileys Childrens hospital and for the Shriners Hospitals.I have been on numerous poker runs that is raising money for charity or to help someone that truly needs help.By and large the overwhelming participant rides a Harley.Of all the runs I have been one I have seen a grand total of 3 crotch rockets and yes there are some metric cruisers but they are less than 10% of the bikes there? where are they?.....

im looking for a dual sport bike, im 17 soon. i like the ktm 525s but hear they arent very reliable. so whats good for tghe motorway but also fun through the trails. i would really like passenger footpegs, but not needed and be able too cruise at 70-80mph. also reliability is needed. which is the only thing against a ktm 525 =( sadly

I love the look of my bike without saddlebags and I bought a handlebar pouch but hated it...it rubbed the black onto my chrome (ugh!)...so I guess my question is if I have no where else to put my stuff wouldn't saddlebags be the obvious choice? I just know it will take away from the whole look. :(

I don't think it is the compression release, because I get no compression even with all the valves closed(valve shafts are in the valve cover, I removed the valve cover.) Would'nt I get incredible compression while kicking over, spark plug in, all valves closed? I never did an actual compression check, But my other bike (same thing) is hard to kick , on the compression stroke. I want to make sure theres not something im overlooking before I pull the head off. Thank you for your answers.

I took off the air filter to get more air into the carbs, when I turned the key and tried to start it, fuel came out thruogh the air box. Lots of fuel! What would be causing this, could the slides in the cabrs be sticking?

I wholheartedly believe in wearing a helmet, that is not the question, but I believe there should no be a law to make you wear one. I am wondering if anyone else see it similar to me. Should there be a National Motorcycle Helmet Law, or should the states have it, or perhaps you might think no helmet should be forced on a rider's head. My opinion is "helmets good, infringing laws, bad"!

Im tired of the HD Guys calling my bike a rice burner, girlly bike, I own a Yamaha FZ6 and a Suzuki M50, and they cut down both bikes. Im at the end of my rope and I can't take it anymore, next time Im going to punch and kick some HD trash!
I don't care if there are 6 HD Guys against one, I might get hurt, but I know for sure I will put the hurt on at least one of them!

I live in a town where it doesn't rain very much and it snows about a couple of inches every year. I'm thinking about getting a motor scooter because it would save me a lot of money. I'm looking at getting a Honda Ruckus. My question is how bad does the weather have to get before I can't ride it anymore? I don't mind the elements too much, just I don't want to ride when I am in serious danger.

Another year gone by, and getting grey in the beard.
Where should I ride to on this next anniversary?
Took the day off, was going to go where Mom and Dad used to take me for my birthday. I'm thinking maybe somewhere else, something new. Starting point anywhere in NH, must be back in 36 hours. Any suggestions?

I am aware that asking some of you where to go is like handing a loaded gun to an infant, I'm prepared.

My husband rides, but he goes to work early in the morning before rush hour. He says he doesn't like to ride home because its congested. When I go to work, and come home it is peak hour. People around here drive like they're in a Nascar race, rubbins racin' and all. I've deciced I might only ride to work on the weekends. How do you guys feel about it? Do you ride in the afternoon frenzy on a regular basis?
