what ways are there to restrict the power on a kx 65? I have brought my son a kx 65 for christmas and was wondering if there was any way to restrict the power as he is only used to ridng a honda qr 50 and its a bit of a step up,im sure he will get on fine with it but for the first month i would like to restrict it just for safety.

the dealer told me that my first should be at 600 miles but then there are some people who say that you have to change it at 50 miles due to the amount of particles caused by breaking in? So which is correct?

Ok I am 16 years old and I was going to sign up for the MSF, now I didnt know that insurance is needed here in CA, now my problem is my parents wont agree with me getting a motorcycle, do I need to be 18 to get insurance? and I know that insurance company will pamel me and take all my money if I do it alone, is there a way I can pay cheap?

I have a mesh but I wanted to get leather because I'm guessing it would protect the skin better. But I also don't want to burn up. So I was asking for peoples opinions on leather jackets and now some people said stick with mesh. So I'm confused.

I'm looking for something that I won't burn up in in the summer and protection of course. So I guess the question is which would give me the better ventilation. By the way I hear Teknic jackets run small. I'm 5'1, 98 lbs. Do you think I can fit a mens 38? Please advise.

Is there any cheap ways to modify the CDI system(lets say for a small motorbike) in order to get a desired timing curve? Currently the CDi that ive got(on a suzuki dr125) runs at 14degress at low rpm and will go up to 30degrees at high rpm.

I am restoring a B reg Honda CX500 motorcycle. I either need a new seat cover, or new seat. I have looked on Ebay but I can only see ones that are in the US or Canada. Has anyone got one, or know of someone who has one that they would be willing to sell. I live near Cambridge, so would not really want to travel a great distance.

basically for those that have experiance working on motorbikes what was the lowest compression reading you ever saw that a simple rings and cylinder honing job was able to bring the compression back to specs? can new rings and honing boost a low 70ish psi back to 150 or higher ? Or is there a point where low compression indicates more then rings ?

Is their any place i can get custom made helmets

i want to make a helmet with the side with spectra fiber,Kevlar and small ceramic disks like in the dragon skin armor to make it built proof and glass that no one can see my face but i can see normal out of the helmet and with a built in head set and built proof glass for the front and the breathing apparatus for filtering out smoke and other Chemicals and well maybe if possible to have the glass in the helmet work like a computer screen so i can see data go on the web look at stuff and maybe a camera in the helmet so i can take photos and i thumb print scanner so i can only take it off or put it on

i mean i have some ideas on how to make the helmet but i rater buy it have that in it and then make my mod factions

I installed an HD branded coffee holder the other day on my bike. I decided to go to Starbucks afterward so I could test my new drink holder out. I ordered my usual tall Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee with whipped cream before hopping on my Harley for my weekly 4 mile ride. I was sipping my coffee when I started my Hog up. I hit the gas and the coffee spilled all over my face and then the visor snapped shut. The coffee couldn't get out and burned my face. My face got really red and it felt like radiation. I ended up in the ER.

The good news is I am okay. I am wearing protective gauze for the next 10 days.

Has this ever happened to any other HD riders out there? Is Harley Davidson responsible for this? Are there any HD riders that are lawyers who can advise me who else can I go after? Like the coffee holder or helmet maker? Perhaps the company that distributes the cups?

But someone told me its "shrude" to get it on finance?? It is 0% interest, the bike is £3299, I was told to get it financed over 12 months, if something goes wrong within a year will they take the bike back?? or repair it?
