if u like taking the permit test every year, do it. otherwise, start learning the art of slow speed riding and get the endorsement. advantages is: 1 test to take for the rest of ur riding days, can legally ride 2 up, no helmet in some states, rent bikes, and do 'demo rides' when dealers do them. u cannot do these things with just a permit. u are still classified as 'unlicensed', and u have to have a license (aka endorsment) to do alot of things on a bike. btw, stunting isnt one of them...u just lose yer bike and earn a trip to jail for that.

You'll still have test! so why not get over with if you fail usually you get two more trys if miss both those stop ridin motorcycle and get a car! You know your insurance is higher on a permit!

yes,,but do you really want to go through the hassle?...in Pa they just made it so you have to take the test every time you renew,,,thats every year...i dont know how it is where you are, but its better just to get your lisence.
