Ive just passed my motor bike test. i have a GPZ 550 which i learnt on and took my test, but i want something more up right...not a scrambler nor a racer...in between. Yet still around the same cc, nothing smaller.
Any ideas would be a great help, thankyou.

I have a Suzuki Scooter 400cc and have just fitted handguards to it. I want to add some extra stick on, forward facing indicators to the handguards to increase visibility.
I'm not sure if extra lights need to be static rather than being able to move with the bars. I should add that it's for UK roads.

Thanks, Bob.

I am looking for a good motorcycle to buy to learn how to ride. I also plan on taking riding classes as well. I was told a R6 would be a good choice for a first bike. I just want to get a feel from other people to see if anyone agrees or has other choices. I know nothing about motorcycles, I am 6 feet even and weigh approx 250.

Please don't bother telling me to leave it in the garage.

Regular soap and water I can do - but there must be some good advice out there we can share.

Products that work? Tips to make the soap and water quicker and more effective?

Did you know modern road salt includes a chemical to glue it to the road better - it also glues it to your bike better. Hoo-bloody-ray!

It is a beautiful sunny day with a temperature of 27 degrees F and a high of 35 degrees F with slight winds from the NW at 15 miles per hour here in New Richmond, WI (about 15 mile to the east of ST Paul/MPLS). I am going for a motorcycle ride that will guarantee at least 125 miles. Would you like to join me? C'mon, it isnt that bad.

By the way I don't have anything electric to keep me warm, so let's go

i have a tt225 from 1986. it was working perfectly until one day of riding, after about 2 hours, i was riding slow and i guess i wuz in too low of rpm to shift but shifted anyways to 2nd gear, and it shut off. but when i tried to turn it on again i couldnt kick it over. so i rolled the bike for a few meters and it was able to turn over again. but now it wont start and it makes a weerd clinging noise when i kick it over. theres still spark, compression, all that stuff but wont start. what do you think is wrong with it?

This is on a Honda '74 - z50, I have the E22 race head and up the cc to 72cc with a piston change and a full race cam with 6mm cam lift. I added a new carb from 17mm to a 20mm for more power.(Speed hungry) When I go and give it full throttle the engine just bogs down like it's going to die. This happens in every gear plus neutral. I played with the adustments currently on the carb and found nothing to help.

If you don't give it full throttle you can certainly feel the difference in power from the old carb. Any ideas would be great. Oh I live in Maryland. I've done all the mechanics on the bike so just give to me straight.

If it is a jet issue how do you know which size jet to use?
