My '99 Dodge Avenger loses battery power if left over a day or two without being driven. I had the battery, alternator, voltage regulator, etc. checked at two different places, and everything was perfect. When it was dark, I checked everywhere for a stray light or anything that was left on, both inside the car, in the trunk, and under the hood. But there were no lights shining anywhere.

I kind of hear a spark sound when I start the car sometimes, but I don't know if it's somehow related.

What could be draining my battery?

i've checked fuses, change relays and there are no breaks in wire leading to the fan but a volt meter read no volts from the fan wire when the fan is turned on.

The car is a sports car and lowered and the damage is expensive to repair. I've been quoted £500.
Where do I legally stand on this matter, any ideas?

I was changing my thermostat and i cracked the housing so i welded it up with alot of jb weld and let it sit for a couple days. Then i put the thermostat and the housing back on the intake. I put water and coolant in the car, started it up and let it idle, waited for the water to go down then i added more water. Put when i press the gas pedal to get the air bubbles out the system the WATER WOULD SPILL OUT THE TOP OF THE RADIATOR. Could my head gasket be blown or is it something else? I NEED HELP

I own a legend sedan 5 speed with 137K miles. There are a few issues I want to take care of. When i turn the wheel to the right, it's very difficult unless im at speeds above 10mph. Also, the front right tire tread has been wearing out quickly. Aside from this, unless I give it enough 'gas' the front of the car shakes quite a bit. I won't have time to get it checked until the weekend. Note: the car does not feel like it's shifting weight when i stop or go. Am i wrong to pursue checking the front right CV joint/boot? Maybe it's a motor mount? Is it preventing the steering column from working correctly? Thank you all ahead of time.

What material do they use on cylinder heads that are meant for performance?

Like teh heds that expand a lot on compression and lightweight and can handle HIGH TEMPERATURES?

We've checked, cleaned, and replaced (when needed) everything from the air intake filter, to the Mass Air-flow sensor, to the Oxygen sensor, cleaned the injectors, changed the fuel filter (fuel pump works fine), changed spark plugs and hi-tension wires... but still experience sluggish acceleration from standstill and terrible gas milage. I mean, either give me no power but great milage or bad milage but great power... but no power and poor milage is just terrible. The only thing we have not yet checked is the ECU, which controls the air/fuel mixture and timing of the engine. I can't imagine why these things would "lose" their programming or why these things would ever require any reprogramming to begin with. Any ideas anyone? Did we miss anything in our checklist? Thanks.

I'm having a problem with my 2000 W-Reg Jaguar S-Type - Basically, the heating system doesn't work. The A/C works, and all the rest, but when you put the setting to warm, cold air comes out. No matter what setting you use, it's still cold air that comes out, and I've tried various combinations to make sure that there is no other way to make it work. I'm assuming that maybe the heater is broken? Radiator? Some wiring somewhere? (Although I doubt it, since everything else works perfectly). Anyone else had this problem? And what happened? Thanks.

After I start the my 1972 Nova SS (350 4 bolt main, bored .60 over, TH350 auto tranny) and put it in gear, sometimes there is a rattle that sounds like it is the passenger exhaust. However, it only does it sometimes and it is a very deep rattle. You can feel the rattle on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel. We have checked transmission bolts, exhaust bolts, everything. What could it be? Could it be my transmission crossmember being loose?

besides the dealer infiniti, are there any tother places where i can change the oil?

The headlight burned out on the driver's side of my '96 Toyota Corolla. Does anyone know how to change it? Does the battery need to be removed? We tried removing a couple of screws to detach the lamp from the car, but that didn't work. It looks like there may be a couple of bolts that require a wrench to remove them - do those need to be taken off? This is quite frustrating! Help!

Engine rotates but will not fully start. Battery replaced. Gas tank is 1/3 full. Oil and water levels are good. I'm concerned that engine oil may have dried from pistons, and dont want to cause any damage. What should my next step be?

4.0 liter V6 automatic. It has 87,000 miles on it. The "check engine" light came on just a couple days ago. The engine is making a rattling noise . . . which is worse when it's in gear. It's not leaking oil . . . and I just had the oil changed last week. Oil pressure is fine and temperature is fine. Sounds like rod knock. Any ideas ???

We bought rust remover stuff and let it sit. We have air tools but they aren't helping either. Part of the problem is that we try so hard that we actually lift the car off the jacks. Any suggestions here?

We all know that even at hand car washes...those workers use crap towels and really could care less about micro scratches on our cars.

Where do you get your car washed when it's too cold to do it outside of your house?
