I have a 2006 GMC Yukon. We normally put regular unleaded fuel but sometimes we put the unleaded plus. Is it bad for your car to switch between regular oil and plus? Thanks.

I have a question that I hope someone will be able to answer for me. A couple weeks ago my battery died in my car. I wasnt too surprised as it had been five years since I had last replaced it. I havent had any other problems recently with my car, so anyways I went and got it fixed. The terminals (at least this is what I believe they are called....the pieces that hold the wires onto the positive and negative sides) were also replaced yesterday because they were corroided. In the process of getting this all fixed, my drivers side window had the motor go out so I also had to fix that. I spent about 300 dollars getting all this fixed. Yesterday after I got the terminals changed, I drove to work and a few other places with no problem. But then on the way home from work my car suddenly died. It did the whole shake and then die thing. It started right back up and drove without problem home. Today it did the same thing, died at a stoplight and then drove with no problem the rest of the way. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this??? Could it possibly have something to do with the wiring or something with the battery. It isnt acting up besides this and isnt making any kind of loud noise or anything.

Thanks!

i have recently purchased a 2007 mercury, milan, premier. at my first oil change i told the dealer to use 100% synthetic oil. when do i need to have the oil changed? they are telling me the standard 3000 miles. i thought that when 100% synthetic oil was used that the life of the oil lengthened. Please help. I want to do the right thing.

I have a riding mower that won't start.

When you turn the key it makes the start up sound but it won't turn over... it hangs right on the edge.

It's a Briggs and Stratton, Model 28R707. I've looked at all the trouble shooting stuff online but I don't know which one I should start with.

Where should I begin?

Just question that has been bugging me. You would think it takes less fuel to cool already cold air than to cool hot air from outside?

Where is the thermostat located on 94 Saturn SC1? And most radiators I've seen are in the front of the engine, but mine seems to be what would normally look like a reservoir.....is it actually the radiator?

I just replaced my clutch, flywheel and pressure plate. It's a stage 2 competition clutch and a 12 pound streetlite flywheel. Do I need to baby my car for a certain amount of miles or not? Some people say a 500 mile break in is required, while others say no break in is required. Which is it?

How much should a basic brake job cost for a '97 Chevy Monte Carlo? We've been quoted around $180. total for brake pads and resurfaceing the roaters. Is that a fair price? What is the best place to go to get them done (as far as price and reputation).

This car stays cool when it is running around, but stop and go traffic, yikes the temp gauge just keeps climbing. Would adding an electric fan and mounting it on the ouside of the radiator in combination of the existing fan function the way I would like? I plan on adding an additional switch to turn it on when needed.

Hi, the ac on my car is not working. We got it fixed (filled or whatever) about 3 weeks to a month ago, and they said it seems to be holding pressure fine. But now there's no cold air again. What could this be and what would be the cheapest fix? Are used parts an option? Thanks alot for any help you may have!
