If you're looking for the least amount of wear, friction and heat go with a full synthetic 5W-30. Depending upon where you live you may find Royal Purple, Texaco, Mobil 1, Valvoline, Quaker State, Pennzoil or Amsoil.
The above full synthedics keep the engine cleaner for an extended amount of time because of the detergent formulations.
Use top shelf oil filters such as Wix, NAPA (Wix makes NAPA Filters) AC - Delco, Purolater and Hastings. Don't get sucked in with extended drain interval oil filters. The filtering media does not filter the smaller micro-inch particle sizes as do the filters above.
