I'm assuming that you know how to dump the tank. That's the first step. The best bet is to have an external flush installed. There are some companies that make a spray bar for flushing the tank. They cut a hole in the side wall, insert the spray bar which is held in place by a flange and screws. Then it's just a matter of hooking a water hose to it and flushing the tank until it's clean. Using a short clear section, obtainable at Camping World, between the outlet and hose will let you see when the water from the tank is running clean. Without the flush setup a good way to clean the tank, after dumpimg, is fill the tank about half full, add a cup of Tide laundry detergent and go for a 10 to 15 mile drive. Dump the tank again then rinse with a wand inserted through the toilet. The wands can also be obtained through Camping World and some RV dealers. The spray bar through the wall s really the best. I have one on my gray water tank also as soap scum and hair buildup over time is also a big problem. Good luck with it and Happy Trails.

Water comes from a hookup, exceedingly lots a backyard hose (there are particular ones that are sanitized for eating water) Heating and power come from a generator that (often) takes gas. maximum people who stay in RVs stay in parking a good number of extensive shops mutually with Wal-Mart. The shops do not probably like this, yet there isn't lots they might do approximately it. in the event that they ask you to leave, in simple terms circulate to a diverse save. this thoughts comes from a individual I used to artwork with who lived in his 1978 keep away from motorhome.
